A 4.125" x 5.5" notepad (4⅛" × 5½") is a handheld, portrait pad made for daily work: order forms at a counter, call notes by the phone, checklists on a clipboard. It's just 1/8 inch narrower than our quarter-letter pad, with the same 5.5-inch height. These are full color notepads, so your logo, photos and background art print on every sheet.

A Working Pad for Counters and Desks
This size is meant to be written on all day. It's large enough for a short form or a real paragraph of notes, yet it fits next to a register, a phone or a laptop without getting in the way. Florists, bakeries, rental shops, repair counters and service desks can print the questions they ask on each order, so details are written down the same way every time.

4.125 x 5.5 vs. 4.25 x 5.5: The 1/8-Inch Difference
These two sizes look almost identical, so here's how to choose:
- 4.125" x 5.5" (this page): 4⅛" wide, set up here as an everyday working pad for forms and notes. 25 or 50 sheets.
- 4.25″ × 5.5″: 4¼" wide, exactly a quarter of a letter sheet, and our promo pad, with a 15-sheet option for lighter giveaways.

FAQs: 4.125" x 5.5" Custom Notepads
What is 4.125 x 5.5 in fractions and centimeters?
4.125″ × 5.5″ is the same as 4⅛″ × 5½″. In metric, that's about 10.5 × 14 cm. Each sheet is cut to that size before it's glued into a pad.
What's the difference between a 4.125 x 5.5 and a 4.25 x 5.5 notepad?
One-eighth of an inch of width. Both pads are 5.5″ tall; this one is 4⅛″ wide, and the 4.25″ × 5.5″ notepad is 4¼″ wide, a full quarter of a letter sheet. The 4.25″ × 5.5″ page also offers a 15-sheet pad for giveaways, while this one comes in 25 or 50 sheets.
Can I print an order form on a 4.125 x 5.5 pad?
Yes. Labeled fields like Name, Phone, Order and Delivery Date fit comfortably under a logo at this size. The Bloom Florist & Gifts pad in the photos is laid out that way. Send us the form you use now, and our designer will fit it to the sheet for free.
Can my 4.25 x 5.5 artwork be used on this pad?
Usually, with a small adjustment. The sheet is 1/8″ narrower, so a design built for 4.25″ × 5.5″ has to be scaled or trimmed slightly. Our designer makes that change at no charge, and you'll see it on the proof before anything prints.
Can a 4.125 x 5.5 notepad hang on the fridge?

Do the sheets on a 4.125 x 5.5 pad have adhesive?
No. The pad is held together by padding glue on the top edge, and each sheet tears off with a clean back. For sticky notes, see our custom sticky notepads or Post-it® Brand custom sticky notes.
Which paper weight should I choose?
50 lb. is the standard writing paper. Step up to 60 lb. or 70 lb. for a heavier sheet, and note that Backside Printing requires 60 lb. or heavier so the reverse doesn't show through.
What's the smallest order of 4.125 x 5.5 notepads?
