Blockout posters are printed on 12pt C2S stock, which is two 6pt coated sheets laminated with a black adhesive center layer for 100 percent opacity. Gloss Book and Gloss Cover use 100lb gloss stocks, with Gloss Cover delivering noticeably more weight and rigidity. Matte-Finish posters are printed on 100lb Dull Book with a satin aqueous coating. Photo Gloss is built for image-forward designs that need maximum color depth. What file format do I need to send for my poster artwork?
A high-resolution PDF is our preferred format. We also accept PNG, JPG, EPS, PSD, and AI files. Resolution should be at least 300 dpi at the final print size, and color should be set up in CMYK or RGB. Please do not copy and paste images from websites, as those files are too low-resolution to print cleanly. If your file is not ready, you can place the order and upload artwork afterward, or our art team can help with layout and design.
Will I see a proof before my custom posters are printed?
Yes. We do not print until you approve your proof. We send a digital proof by email within 24 to 48 hours of receiving your order, with weekend orders proofed the following business day. You can request up to three proofs per item at no additional charge so you have room to refine your design before approval.
