The 6" x 6" notepad is our large square desk pad. Each sheet has 36 square inches of writing room, enough for meeting notes, a sketch or a day's tasks, in a shape that sits neatly beside a laptop or a phone. It's the square to choose when a memo pad feels too small and a letter-size pad feels like too much.

What are the dimensions of a 6 x 6 notepad?
Each sheet is 6 inches by 6 inches, about 15.2 × 15.2 cm. Notepads keep a 1/8″ non-printable margin, so the printable area is about 5.75″ square unless you add Artwork Bleed in the price calculator.
What size is a standard notepad?
There isn't one standard size. Letter size (8.5″ × 11″) and half-letter (5.5″ × 8.5″) are the classic writing pads, 4″ × 6″ is a common handheld pad, and 3″ × 3″ is the familiar small square. A 6″ × 6″ pad sits in the middle: a square with desk-pad writing room. See all 34 standard notepad sizes.
Is a 6 x 6 notepad considered a large note pad?
For a square, yes. It has 36 square inches per sheet, 44% more than a 5″ × 5″, and four times the area of a 3″ × 3″. If you need a truly large note pad, our 17″ × 11″ notepads cover most of a desk.
Do you make letter-size notepads?
Yes. Our 8.5″ × 11″ custom notepads are full letter size, and our 5.5″ × 8.5″ notepads are half-letter. The 6″ × 6″ is the pick when you want a big writing area in a square that still fits beside a laptop.
Should I choose a 6 x 6 or a 6 x 9 notepad?
Both are 6 inches wide. The 6″ × 6″ is a square for sketches, notes and short lists. The 6″ × 9″ notepad adds three inches of height for longer lists, meeting notes and journals.
Do you print 6 x 4 notepads?
Yes. Our 6″ × 4″ custom notepads are a wide, short pad, good for phone messages and quick notes. Choose the 6″ × 6″ if you want the same width with more room to write.
How many sheets come on a large square notepad?
You choose 25, 50 or 75 sheets per pad in the price calculator. The 75-sheet pad is the thickest option on this size and lasts longest on a busy desk.
Can I get a large square notebook instead of a pad?
Yes. These are glued tear-off pads with a chipboard backer. If you'd prefer pages bound like a book, see our 6″ × 6″ bound notebook.
