A 5" x 4" notepad is a landscape notepad: 5 inches wide and 4 inches tall. The wide sheet gives a horizontal logo or a long business name a full line of its own, with room underneath for notes, a short form or a few labeled lines. We print your design in full color on every sheet.

The minimum is just 8 pads, each with 25 or 50 sheets. You pay nothing for setup, and our designer and up to 3 proofs are free. This size is one of our 34 standard notepad sizes.

Landscape vs. Portrait: Same Size, Different Pad

This page and our 4″ × 5″ notepad use the same sheet size. The difference is the way it's turned:

• 5" x 4" (landscape, this page): wider than tall. Best for wide logos, script names, banners and short forms with a few labeled lines.
• 4" x 5" (portrait): taller than wide. Best for lists, stacked logos and longer notes, and it takes up less room across a desk.

Pick the one that matches your logo. If your logo is about twice as wide as it is tall, landscape usually shows it off with less empty space. Not sure? Our designer can show you both.

Who Uses a 5 x 4 Landscape Notepad?

A spa or a salon can print appointment lines for the next visit. A builder or a contractor can hand one out with a bid, and a real estate agent can leave one at a showing; see our real estate notepad designs for themed ideas. Because the pad is only 5 inches wide, it also fits in a welcome bag or a client folder.

Where the 5 x 4 Fits Among Landscape Sizes

We print four standard landscape sizes. The 4″ × 3″ is the pocket size; the 5″ × 3″ is a slim strip for tear-off notes; this 5" x 4" adds an inch of height for a logo plus writing space; and the 6″ × 4″ is the largest of the four. For a full desk pad, the 17″ × 11″ and 18″ × 12″ are landscape too.

• Artwork Bleed: lets a background or border run off the edge; otherwise a 1/8" white margin frames the sheet.
